I was just curious what are some good tables for a close up show and should I even bother having a close up table for a close up show? I was thinking along the lines of using a close up table that has wheels and can be easily wheeled to various different locations and is small enough to use in small rooms.

Do you need a table to do your show? Will there be a table there you could use? Use that table.
Do you need a table to do your show? Does that table need to be tricked out in any way? Get a table and trick it out. Do you not need a table to do your show? Lose the table and the hassle of transport. |

Though I think a table is a good tip builder (i.e. more flash); I've
found that I would tire of carrying the thing if I don't need it or use it for anything....

The best place to get a table is at a local Harbor Freight.
They have very professional nice looking ones in black with silver trim, or all silver. The one in the link is a silver one, but they have a very nice black one with silver trim, that I use. http://www.harborfreight.com/18-x-13-x-6......315.html They have served me very well for many years! Look around this forum, there are many discussions on tables. Good to see you posting in here Brother! |

This looks like a great value. A good case for a reasonable price. How have you been doing?

I'm doing very well thank you Brother and thanks for asking.
Thanks for you military service to our great country as well! We discussed your question here as well. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......rum=6&18 p.s. In the above post, I meant to say case not table, when referencing the link. |

Once is enough. I am no hero nor am I anybody special and their are tons more other vets who deserve way more praise and thanks than myself (and I really mean that too and my contribution is not much in comparison to the amount that other veterans have given our country). I was just a simple soldier, a very tiny tiny piece of a much much bigger picture, who was carrying out his sworn duties. Nothing special and nothing more. I am just glad to be alive and to have survived my time on deployment and to have had the honor and privelege to serve our great country. That's good enough for me. I think I have already thanked you as well for your military service, but in case I haven't, well, thanks for your service too! You definately earned the thanks and gratitude of our great country.

I use a Dr.'s bag size Craftsman tool bag, $10 about ten years ago. Durable, pockets on the side for cards, coins, paper pad, pen/pencil/sharpie. Interior holds cups, various balls, rope, more decks, wax container/applicator, wand, etc. People notice it's a tool bag and comment opening the door for "I'm at work, these are my tools" type response to educate I'm not out there for my health. Bag of tricks jokes as well. |
