As many of you have heard, directly from Hank Lee's Newsletter dated Friday, October 26th they will be closing on Sunday, October 28th.
As an owner of a brick and mortar shop and as one who has made every effort to keep a good pulse on the industry I realize there will perhaps be many who have outstanding issues with Hank Lee. They have indicated they intend to reopen and when they do they will honor outstanding gift certificates and reward points. For some, you may choose to do this and for others you may be disheartened by that news. I have good news for you. The Magic Emporium is implementing a MAGIC BAIL OUT program. We realize we are not aware of the potential enormity of this group of individuals that will be affected by this closing but we love our business, our customers and our industry so we are working hard to do what we can to help. For all who wish to do so please email me directly your situation and the amount of outstanding credits you have. I will personally contact each one of you and make you an offer to redeem your gift certificates or reward points at The Magic Emporium. For taking the time to email me, each one of you will also receive a special coupon code giving you a discount on all your magic purchases through the end of this year. Let me be clear, we are in no way affiliated with Hank Lee nor are we interested in participating in negative discussions. We know people will be affected by this and we just want to do our part to help those who perhaps are disappointed. Magic is a wonderful thing and there are many good business owners in the magic industry who do believe in doing the right thing and offer a high level of customer service. Every person who contacts me directly will receive at a minimum a discount for their magic purchases through the end of this year, a free gift from The Magic Emporium with their first purchase from us and a guarantee of up to $240 in free magic over the next 12 months. Contact me for all the details and please include any gift certificate amounts and reward points and we will begin our BAIL OUT program immediately. Respectfully, Gary Barker Owner, The Magic Emporium Please email me directly at bailout@themagicemporium.net for the details of this opportunity and to share with me your situation. |

Thank you Gary for doing that. The Magic Emporium in Tampa is the closest brick and mortar magic shop to me, so I have been there several times. The people are wonderful. It's a great shop. They host great lectures.
I don't have any gift certificates or credits at Hank Lee, so it doesn't affect me personally, but I still appreciate you stepping up to honor the gift certificates not knowing how much it will cost you. Thank you. I agree about the Like button. Count me as a Like. |
