I noticed the gimmick of Blue Crystal doesn't move up anymore as it should. Lowering it works fine, up again doesn't work - I have to turn the box upside down to get it back in place.
Anyone alse ever had this problem? |

Lubricant/baby oil may work too as a matter of fact - the whole 'proces' becomes smoother and perhaps it will get up more easily then! |

Pretty simple mechanism that makes it go up and down.
You can take Blue Crystal apart. It is not glued closed. Open it up and you should be able to solve the problem. |

Thanks John/guys ... I have taken it apart and it still does not work I found a litle piece (a tiny small cilynder of a cm length) that was loose but I have no idea where to put it. I have put some oil on one side of the gimmick thing but no ...
The problem is that the transparant piece of plastic 'rubs' against the side of the box when it is pushed upwards thus making it impossible to move up fluently ... . |

I do not own a Blue Crystal, so I'm not sure if this will work, but won't it be possible to véry gently rub the edges of the transparant plastic with some fine sandpaper? Too little would be better than too much, so try if it works often (perhaps even after each single 'rub' with the sandpaper), and if not use the sandpaper a little more, until the plastic no longer rubs against the side of the box.
Be very careful when (and if) you try this; you don't want to ruin your gimmick! I hope someone here can help you with the small cylinder. It múst have had a function, so it might be vital for the trick to work...

Killer,
The only cylinders I see are 4 posts that are attached to the inside of the cover. Maybe it is one of those. If that is broken then maybe the problem is that everything is not "squared-up" so you are getting more than normal rub. John |

Thanks. I opened the box a few times, rubbed some oil on a side and after putting it together a few times it now works again. The cilynder was indeed one that broke off from the top part.
