I think I underestimated my height - I'm actually 6 feet tall, not 6 inches. I blame the metric system... <grin>
Thanks for the suggestion Christopher - I'll try the glue dots! Great Idea! |

The price to make one is like $7-$8 so I have passed on making this so far.

I was weary too Kevin, but have "chosen wisely" so far with whom I make it for. The smallest I have gotten for this at a restaurant was $20! So it more than makes up for the cost spent.

That is insane.... Did you make it up as you went along, did you plan it then make it, did it take several attempts or have you made it before.... Wow!

Hi Kevin,
the price in Australia is *much* higher. Each Eyeball bubble costs $5.00 (wholesale price), then all the 'standard' balloons - hearts, 321s, 350s, and 646s all cost more than in the USA. I haven't done that actual sums, but my best guess is about $18.00 - $20.00 in balloon costs. That doesn't account for time and knowledge to make it. However, this has garnered the best response of ANY model that I have made - *EVER*. I will keep making it, as long as the various special balloons are available. Baz |

@ Christopher- I also use a single glue dot on that Eyeball Monster mask to keep the eyes from going all wonky. Can I ask how you are getting the noses on those reindeer? It's not immediately obvious to me from that picture. Great display piece.
And since it's the season for it, here's Caldwell's Big Cuddly Snowman from Balloon Magic #62 (and one of his DVDs I believe). It's super easy and very large, so it has similar appeal to that mask if you could swing the cost of a 3' round. I made this one's arms a bit too large, and I couldn't find the 24" snowman face prints, so I had to draw it on myself. You get the idea though. |

Was inspired by Chris's santa that I wanted to do a version of my own. Of course the head design belongs to Buster Balloon.

And here is Santa with some toys. The Snow globe designs I just learned literally 15 minutes ago from David Brenion

Will a video do in lieu of a picture? I experimented with radio control on a figure this weekend...
