Hello to my fellow magic app lovers . . .

Rostami Magic is proud to announce iTelekinect.
The first app in the World that will allow you to MOVE your iPhone with YOUR MIND!!

AND . . . it's only $0.99

Check out the video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VvojwH1Y7M

Here's the app on the App Store:
http://bit.ly/iTelekinectOnAppStore

For the last month, I've had SO much fun with this app. I usually do it without calling attention to myself.
Like, I'll be waiting for my food at a restaurant and I'll put my iPhone down on the table and make it move.

I've had so many people freak out when I do this . . . mainly because I'm not asking them to watch me. I'm just practicing my telekinetic powers. ;-)

This is one of these things that people either figure out, or when they don't, it REALLY fries them!

Let me know what you think.

Hi Greg,

You are the best at iPhone magic.

This app is simply awesome. The demo made me think there was a gimmick behind it until I realised it was all software.

Hi Joe,

Yes, it's all software . . .

I did this last night at a local restaurant for the waitresses . . . one of them was seriously spooked. She picked up my iPhone and touched the bottom to see if there was any extra things that would make it move. ;-)

Another waitress moved her hands through the space in between me and the iPhone to make sure there were no strings.

One of the guys there said . . . that's amazing! You're not even running any apps!! (Hee Hee!)

I think long delays, before the phone start to move, REALLY add to the drama of the effect . . . it forces everyone to look at the phone and anticipate the motion.

If you guys have already gotten the app, try performing it with a black screen, and dim the brightness of your iPhone to it's minimum. This way your iPhone looks off when you perform iTelekinect.

enjoy,
Greg Rostami

Hi Rich,

We can't do this app for the Android because most Android devices won't stand on their edges (they have rounded beveled corners).

In contrast the iPhone has straight edges that you can stand on.

Sorry about that,

Here's a great video of Patrick Kun performing iTelekinect for my fellow Armenian magician Bedros Akkelian (aka Spidey).

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10100910013248120

At Mindvention in Las Vegas, I was really surprised by how seriously all the magicians liked iTelekinect.

They kept asking me to raise the price from $0.99 to MUCH higher. Maybe I'll do that, but for now it's still $0.99

Thank you very much Patrick Kun for your amazing presentation,

Thank you very much guys for the kind words.

I'm REALLY surprised by the GREAT reactions that iTelekinect gets. Here's an idea you may like:

Place your iPhone upside down on a table . . . it's a little harder to balance but it's possible.
Balance a coin or a ring on the back (see photo).
Do some iTelekinect VooDoo and watch the coin/ring slide off the edge of the iPhone.

I do this with a very long delay (like 15-20 seconds). I activate iTelekinect and I stand FAR away as I get EVERYONE to concentrate on my ring.
As it get's closer to the time, I say "NOW . . . push harder with your mind NOW . . . ALL of us can do it together."
When the ring falls, applaud everyone for their combined Telekinetic powers. ;-)

In the photo did you notice how the iPhone looks OFF. That's because I replaced the image with a black screen and turned my iPhone brightness all the way down.
In an upcoming version of iTelekinect we'll put that in as a feature along with a few other surprises.

Keep BANGIN . . .

Here's some interesting trivia about iTelekinect.

The app was supposed to have been released WAY before Halloween. Apple rejected it because they didn't like the app store description.

Here's the original app store description:

Move your iPhone with your MIND!

tele·ki·ne·sis - noun \ˌte-li-kə-ˈnē-səs\ : the production of motion in objects without contact or other physical means.

For thousands of years hindu monks knew it.
Secret Russian schools taught children how to do it.
Underground US Air-Force researchers proved it.
Science can't explain it . . . but IT's REAL!

Now the power to move objects can be yours . . .

Bring out your iPhone.
Stand it on it's edge on the table.
No Strings, No Magnets, No Wires, . . . just your phone and your mind.

Step away from your phone.
Reach out your hand. Hold your breath. Concentrate.
Suddenly . . . unexplainably . . . your iPhone starts to move!

First, just a little, barely noticeable. Then a bigger motion . . . and stop.

Exhale. Breathe. Lower your hand . . . . . . your mind exhausted from the intense exertion.

You pick up your iPhone and hand it out for examination.

iTelekinect features:
Super easy to do . . . perform ONE minute after downloading.
Video and written instructions are included.
Everything looks completely real.
Works with your iPhone4, 4S and 5 (no iPod Touch)
Once you leave your iPhone, you never touch it again, but you control exactly when it moves.
GREAT for Halloween and just plain freaking out your friends!

Apple's legal team REALLY doesn't like this kind of stuff.
I hope someday they'll let me use my original description.

Here's a new demo video for iTelekinect . . .
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtxRUyctlu4

The last one was rushed out the door. I spent a little more time with this one.

This video also shows the other effects you can do with iTelekinect.
I hope you like it.

Thank you Gerry.

I was just at an infant baptism.

I did iTelekinect at a table with ten 20 something girls sitting around.

I had the delay at 15 seconds. I asked all the girls to rub their hands and focus their powers on the phone . . .

I love it when a bunch of girls freak out at the same time. I wish I was 20 again. Smile

There was a guy walking by the table that only saw the phone move. He said "You put some soap under the phone." So I pulled him aside, showed him there was no soap, and did it again.

too much fun,
Rostami

Ron Jaxon who is one of the most clever magicians, gave me the BEST XMas present today.

For those of you who want to perform iTelekinect with the screen off (so it looks like your iPhone is off), here's what to do:

1. Go to your iPhone's Settings, General, Accessibility, Triple-click Home, and turn on VoiceOver.
2. You can now go into the VoiceOver settings and turn the speed of the voice over to maximum fast.
3. Launch iTelekinect
4. Triple click your home button, and then using three fingers triple tap the screen.
5. Your screen will now turn off, but iTelekinect will still be running.
6. To go back to normal, just reverse the above steps.

You can now get your iPhone ready with iTelekinect running and leave it in your pocket. Make sure you change your settings so your Auto-Lock is set to never.

Thank you very much Ron Jaxon.

Merry Christmas everyone,
