Does anyone perform this?
Is Tenyo's version any good? I saw a magician do this last week at a show and it was very good. My wife was very impressed. When we got home I watched the Tenyo version on YouTube. It looked good as well, but I think the magician I saw perform it showed both sides of the paper when he was done. He was a very good professional. Any feedback on this trick will be appreciated. |

The best Newspaper Tear in the world is Ron Wilson's handling of Alex Elmsley's version. The pieces appear to heal themselves as you unfold the torn paper. It's in my book (out of print) The Uncanny Scot: Ron Wilson.

I don't like Tenyo's version. It's a hassle to set it up and the handling is awkward. With sufficient practice it is an ok trick but as said by others there are better versions available.

I have the JB Magic one that is Super easy and very visual. Google it and you can see a YouTube of Mark Mason doing it. I like it very much because of it's ease and reset.
