Sorry asanghi
Fair credit to Marc though, he kept on going. I think I'd've punched someone. Tony

Yes, I agree with you. But frankly, if I were Marc, with all the glory from Mind Games etc, I would not have volunteered for the Stern show. But heck, I'm not him, so that's a moot point

That's true though, he must have known what he was getting into. I would have loved to go through his mind when the caller mentioned, with much authority, the 'special' pen.

It reminded me a bit of when I performed magic for my family one christmas
he did a good job of changing history with his 'i got the dollar', shame he didn't capitalise on it at the time- he did get it, kind of, in a round about way sort of. they were like a pack of wolves and had total control. had to laugh when he talked about the little tour then 'hopefully' returning to new york- you don't have to have the skills of marc salem to know what was going through his mind as he said it "i hope, if I still have the job" actually I admire his balls, I think I would of wanted to just run. |

Can you imagine an inexperienced performer in there. They would have ate him alive!
Fair play to Marc Salem, true pro!

The alphabet recital at 23 minutes is ... wow... I can't find the words.... but to watch it without resisting jumping forward is a test of iron will

Perform in Bradford, there are rooms FULL of these types of people.
Marc did a great job and I don't think it was painful to watch. Marc was patient, confident, I think he has bigger nerve than 90% of performers just for taking chances in a scenario like that. He was doing a lot of the right things at the right time, shame about being three wayed. Pete x |

Howard Stern is not your typical radio and TV show and I'm sure Marc Salem had an idea what he was getting into. He took a chance and I think he actually came out pretty well. I was impressed how he handled the challenges.

Howard LOVES Magicians and mentalists. A mentalist in that environment is going to run into challenges, otherwise the show is boring.
I was blown away by Marc Salem. I think he shined in that tough venue. |
