I STILL can't get on. The website won't recognize my membership number. I have called 6 or 7 times, and they keep telling the website guys. So far no luck. If I can't get on soon, I'm gonna have to either request a refund or something.

Shawn, can you help?!?!?!?!?!?

One of the huge advantages I feel of both IBM and SAM is the opportunity to connect and network with magicians world-wide.

Example: Back in the 1970's there was an article in LR about a teenaged Henry Hay (author of _The Amateur Magician's Handbook_) visiting T. Nelson Downs. The article noted that Mr. Hay was at that time living in Duesseldorf, Germany. I contacted the IBM International Secretary and asked if he could put me in touch with Mr. Hay. I got not only Hay's address, but addresses for several other magicians in Germany. Coincidentally I was planning a summer trip to Germany at the time. Mr. Hay met me at the airport and I was his house guest for a few days. I became good friends with him and many other German magicians. I got to see a great magic show in Baden-Baden with several magicians of international renown thanks to one of the contacts that I wrote to.

Finally, I think the Parades offer opportunities to pick up some great tricks and routines. And if you're creative yourself, the Parades are a great way to get your name before the magic public.

And if might be allowed a corny paraphrase of John Kennedy (the President, not the magician):
Ask not what the IBM can do for you; ask what you can do for the IBM!

One way to see change is to be the change agent.

Corny but well said.

When I take the time to get involved, I feel more connected.

It is easier to miss a meeting, after a few have already been missed.

If I focus on a problem, it magnifies.
When I look for and work on a solution.....

A few questions, how long does it take for someone to get their IBM code to create an account? and how long does it take for the first package to be shipped to you internationally (Regardless of where you are as long as its not in the US)
