With all the bad things going on in the world today, I just thought that there should be a place where people can say what's wonderful, either in their lives, or outside.

Here's mine. It's wonderful to have someone to love.

Any others?

Wonderful is:

When I first saw a five year old child after just recieving his first pair of hearing aids run around his classroom. Beaming..calling out his own name and those of his classmates.

When I took one of my disabled grade 7 students (whom arrived from a war torn country and had never been to school before that year)to her very first hairdressing appt. Grade 7 graduation was that night and when we returned to class all the students spontaneously stood up and clapped and told her she looked beautiful. The most popular guy in class asked her for the first dance. Everytime I think of that class I get teery eyed.

It's being part of something beyond your control, a sense of awe that you were glad you were there to witness it.

Good post Jennie, thanks for thinking of it.

I agree with Ellen for comedy and laughter.

Top of the list, though is love and affection manifested in the form of a good hug.

Hugs to everyone who needs one!!!!!

Having someone in your life with whom you can be honest without fear, let out your inner child, love and be loved by, without reservation.

What's wonderful? Well, even though my house is falling apart (literally), and we live on my small paycheck and lots of prayers, when my kids (especially my 11 year old because he's at 'that age') give me their bear hugs and tell me "you're the bestest mom in the whole wide world!" I can't think of anything more wonderful than that! I have my doubts about the "bestest mom", but it's nice to hear.

Wonderful thing? I can't think of other than my family.

Other than my family, I can't think of other than Card Magic.

Other than Card Magic, I can't think of other than elegant wine.

This list will continue forever.

I'm only 15 so wonderful things to me will be different to yours, but my parents, Rachael, my girlfriend (she truly is wonderful) and my gift to play the violin to one of the best standards n the world. Only one thing in this world affects me directly in a abad way. the fact that in a coupple of years I will need a kidney transplant, this has helped me appreciate life more. Smile

Florian! What's this about a girlfriend named Rachael? I thought you were madly in love with a girl named Stephanie and asking for advice? Ooooohhhh...

Ok, so this is an old old topic, but what's wonderfull is the fact that I've finally got my permanent residency!!! Another 5 years, and I'll go for citizenship.

What's wonderful is America.

Congrats Jennieprice, I know that feeling. I got my green card about 6 years ago and then got rid of the temp status a bout 3 years ago. Couple more years and I can go for citizenship. Being a dual US/UK citizen will be cool.

Wonderful is being able to get up in the morning, go to work and then go home while being able to say what you like, believe what you like and not have to worry that you will be arrested because your different.
