Does anybody have this book? I tried searching the Café but I couldn't find any.

Yes and boy was I disappointed. A "legend" such as Don Alan deserves something much better than this. The majority of the book is a transcript of the video put out by Joe Stevens.

Mike Close's review in Magic magazine a couple of years back was negative also. He did recommended buying the video on Don from Steven's Magic Emporium Series (volume 28 I believe). He said the book was padded with unnecessary minute performing details and contained several instances of misinformation and omissions.

The book Don Alan: In A Class By Himself is published by L&L and can be bought from their site for $49.95.
With a special agreement with Joe Stevens, both the book and video can be purchased together for $70. In my opinion, the video is all you need to really appreciate the humor of Don Alan (Volume 28 is correct Jim).
