I really like this hat, but what would go with it?
http://www.villagehatshop.com/jaxon-dead......ack.html I'd hate to buy the hat and then never be able to wear it because I just don't have an outfit that works for it. |

That lovely hat would look good on a clown. A regular human being with a hat like that on would be percieved as a clown. Good luck with that look.

I love that hat and disagree with Al's statement.
There is nothing about it that says 'clown' to me. |

If you feel like a clown with this hat, people will perceive you as a clown. If you feel confident as a mysterious man and all your clothes are elegant with a little touch of originality, then people will perceive you as a man of mystery. Mental self-perception influences a lot how others perceive us.

Maybe add steampunk feel to it if you add googles and geared it up.

I would love to see how you accessorize with that hat. Please post a picture of your final costume and prove me wrong.

As your self what would YOUR character wear for a hat. Don't buy a hat because it looks cool. it would not look cool on everyone. this is a coachman's hat. Very familiar to those around here that are in Horse country.
