What bothers me (on the Pinterest page of freaks) was the originator of the page lack of interest in finding out who these people were, or their real names. Many of the photographs are simply titled "freak" when it only takes a simple Google search to discover these people's names and a little history about them. These were real people, with real lives... not just poster children for the bizarre.

I've been collecting old photos to develop new story lines. This place has a few good reprinted photo, boarding on bizarre, that one may purchase:

Watch out as some are address labels not photos. Gotta love the witch family photo!

Good stuff on there for sure YitzhakNoDice. The "Primitive Nun" on page 5, is begging for a story...

Yes, there's some good material in many of them. I ordered a handful of them which looked particularly promising including the "Primitive Nun". (I couldn't pass up the Witch Family photos.) I'll let you know what the quality is like once they are in.

I got the photos yesterday. They are of good quality, not perfect, but good. For the most part they are clear and sharp. (I suppose if they were too perfect, people might become suspect.) Printed on good quality HP photo paper, I can mount them on a stiff backing; they will make good props. With a few other random person effects, some new stories are emerging. Now the fun begins...
