Does anyone know where this or similar item that fulfills same purpose can be found? Tried ebay but the only inexpensive ones were used with no ink and required one to buy bulk refill which are not needed. Any info appreciated. Post or PM. Thx.

This is the link to the black-red. I would prefer a black-blue.

I've got these, they work very well and the shaft rotates easily, each third of a rotation reveals a different tip. You can replace the red with a blue refill if you like.

Here is the corresponding blue refill:

I hope that helps!

This is the one I use.
Not cheap but a real joy to use.

No barrel to twist.
Just how you hold the pen determines which colour is activated when you depress the button.

You cab set it to blue and hand it over.
Get it back and change it. Right in front of them.

It really needs to be seen in action as an explanation doesn't do it justice, but I'll have a go.

If you look at the pen there is a clip for clipping onto your pocket like most pens.
If you hold the pen as if ready to write with the clip upermost and depress the end you will get black.
If you hold the pen as if ready to write with the clip down you will get red
If you hold the pen as if ready to write with the clip towards you you will get green
If you hold the pen as if ready to write with the clip away from you you will get blue

Hey aligator,

Check out this site, this is where I get my multi pens from. There's many (and I mean many) to choose from and their customer service is great.

A stupid question, perhaps, but I will appreciate any explanation:
What magic is this pen used for?
Thank you.

I use this one too (Lamy 2000). I've replaced the green ballpoint with a stylus, which I find useful with some envelopes. This still leaves me with black, blue and red ballpoint options.
