In the book, 'Ross Bertram on Sleight of Hand', there is a move called B.U.D. (Bertram Utility Drop). Basically it's a vanish of an object without any false tranfer, something like the Moira/Vernon wand vanish without the wand/hand movements.
Has anyone mastered this move and used this in real performance....and has it proven effective? The move has always caught my fancy but I've never met/seen anyone who used this move in front of a actual audience. Cheers, Nelson |

You might try and ask David Ben, he knows Bertram's magic inside out. Gave a killer (but way too short) lecture
on the coin magic of Ross Bertram at the Genii Bash. He studied with Ross. |
