I'm also with Lostpoet.... I see no harm in combining the two, given that your presentation is coherent and orderly.
HOWEVER I don't feel it necessary to mix the props; don't put an apparent magic prop with a mentalism routine. With that being said I admire the concept, but I do not like the Mental Epic apparatus, puzzling effect? Yes, but where can I buy a blackboard/whiteboard that is divided into six quadrants? It's too much of a magician's prop for it to be in a Mentalism routine.
