Dear All,
I’m traveling through America next year from Los Angeles to New York and will be stopping on the way in various cities. Please could you list the shop name and general location, so I can further my research. For example I have heard about Brad Burt’s Magic Shop in California, and I have been to Tannen's in NYC. Thanks in advance, Dave

Chances are you probably won’t be in Kansas (what’s in Kansas??) If you are, check out Stevens Magic in Wichita. Great people!

There are 2 in the Massachusetts area.
1) Hank Lee's Magic Factory 2) Ray Goulet's Magic Shop in Watertown MA One good way to find out magic shops is to pick up a copy of Magic Magazine. In the back they list many magic shops in MANY states. Second, if you want to do a little research, your local library should have a copy of telephone books for each of the 50 states. You could always go and look up some magic in the yellow pages.

There are THREE magic shops in the Boston area. In addition to the two Koolmagic114 mentioned, there is Diamonds Magic in Peabody.
And I would be surprised if a local library in the UK had phone books for the United States. |

I visited Hank Lee's in New York two years ago, and it was pretty cool.

Hey Dave,
Coming to our side of the pond, eh? An early welcome to you. If you happen to come by Portland Oregon, check out Callin's House of Magic and White Rabbit Magic. Or if you by-pass us Oregonians, and happen to stumble into Seattle Washington, Check out Seattle Magic (the Disneyland of all magic shops!) |

Dave,
Try not to miss the two first-rate magic shops in the Chicago area. They are: Magic, Inc. (in Chicago proper) and Midwest Magic (in a nearby suburb). Enjoy! Sid

The two magic shops in New York, Tannens' and Hank Lees' where are they located? I hope this isn't against the rules to give the address. Please PM me if so. Thanks

On the east side of Michigan we have 3 magic shops. One is in Garden City, called The Magic Shop. One is in Clawson and called Wunderground. The 3rd one is closed because of a health problem. It is in Warren and is called Crown Magic & Fun Shop.
We have a major one southern center Michigan also. It is called Abbott's Magic Shop. We have a couple on the west side, but I forgot the business names. Let me know when you're in my area, I'll be glad to show you around. |

Depending on your route, in Nashville there is a newly opened shop in the Opry Mills mall at Opryland. high priced as most mall shops, but it's there in case you're in town.
We just moved from there this past October to LA so it should still be around.
