I was thinking of getting some silks made to stuff into a thumb tip. Since I live in Taiwan, I was thinking of going down to the market, buying a bit of silk from a bolt, and asking the seamstress to hem the edges for me. Reading some of the past posts has been a big help, since I now know what momme size to look for.
Before I head down though, is there anything else I should know? |

Remember that momme is not an indicator of quality! Look at the silk itself. All dye jobs ar not equal either. Some will mark other silks.
Enjoy your silk magic. Bob |
