I see four versions of Carnie Tarot decks on the Outlaw Effects site: Carnie Tarot arcana, Flemish arcana, Cursed! arcana and Cursed & Blessed. I've seen the sample card faces in the promo video which I believe are the original "Carnie Tarot" so I believe I have a sense of that that deck looks like, but I'm not sure where to turn to see samples from the other variants (or am I misunderstanding and the different names don't refer to different faces)?

Does anyone know if the Flemish use the types of faces I see when I Google "Flemish Tarot", and how the Cursed and Blessed are different than the others?

I wonder if Roth would be so kind as to post a couple of photos with the same 1 or 2 cards from the different sets so we could see a side-by-side comparison? A picture says a thousand words...

I believe the Flemish cards are similar to the Carnie Tarot, but with more traditional faces.

Thank you! Wow, my search skills are sub-par - I hadn't located the Café thread above. That gives me a very good idea about the Cursed and Blessed cards. In case I missed a Café thread on the Flemish deck I'll look again, but if anyone has any leads I'd be grateful.

"We now have in addition to the Carnie style Flemish arcana, a traditional Flemish style Carnie deck (arcana)

Both of these Arcana are printed on 110 lb stock, hand sanded and then hand aged.

The traditional Carnie has the same backs, the same devious marking system, but not the carnival style faces.
They come in an old cardboard box with the letter of provenance and the cloth wrapper.

I think you traditionalists will love these

So, If I understand correctly:

Carnie = Flemish-style with carnival faces
Flemish = Flemish-style without carnival faces
Cursed = "dark forces tearing and pulling at the images"

all of them = lovely

Now I have to decide which style I want. Crap. D%!m you, Roth, for designing every last product so well!

Carnie = Flemish-style with carnival faces and skulls
Carnie Traditional Flemish = Flemish-style without carnival faces
Cursed = "dark forces tearing and pulling at the images"
Cursed & Blessed- half the deck (even cards) are blessed- Flemish cards with the word blessed on them
Half the deck (odd cards) are carnie cursed cards

The Carnie cards are wonderful, and it's great that they're offered in such a variety of styles.

Personally however, I can't speak highly enough of Outlaw's Dark Dawn Tarot. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Rick and Cody did a great job on them.

I think the Flemish deck might be making it's way to me presently. I've been eying Dark Dawn for a while as well... Decisions, decisions... (Or can I justify one of each..?)

I'm sure you'll love the Flemish cards. As you say, you can always add the Dark Dawn Tarot to your collection at a later date.
