I have already ordered "Scripting Magic" by Pete McCabe and will order Approaching Magic by David Regal in the next couple of days. I have been buying magic books on and off since the 70's and I think I can spot the best books. I am thinking that Scripting Magic is going to be fun to read and with great content. This will be my first David Regal book but his Premise, Power & Participation DVD's got me thinking more creatively. Approaching Magic looks like it has something for everybody. This is going to be a good year for books.

Someone gave me a copy of Tokyo Trickery a couple of years ago. It's a good book. I had never heard of it before. I also bought the complete works of Derek Dingle for $25 (first edition excellent shape).
For anyone interested the Knights of Sleights will be holding our Annual Magic Flea Market on Wednesday, April 30th. It will be held at the Diplomat West in Elmhurst, Illinois. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the cost is $8.00

I just sucked it up and bought Bruce Cervon's Castle Notebooks Volume 3. Next up will be Regal and Lorayne's latest works.

Ed Solomon has just (this week) released "Magic for the Storyteller - The Complete Works of DeNomolos - Vol 1". It is a hard backed volume of over 500 pages and is a compilation of his first six books, originally marketed as E-books.

Edited by Bill Palmer and beautifully produced.

For several years now, Ed has been writing a monthly column entitled 'Storytelling Is Magic', in The Linking Ring. If you enjoy his column, you will want this book.

Stories....?....That's telling!

The magic is not in our sleights and illusions, but instead in our ability to bring love and joy.
