Wouldn't see any benefit, it works as is.

The first 3/4 of posts in this thread are seemingly armchair posters disparaging the product based on nothing but what they think.
Even worse, some posters returned for a second round!! Some allude to the $40 price tag. Was this $40 at one time cause now it's only $9.95 I am picking it up. Can't go wrong. We all need "extra" peek wallets don't we? I was at a sales conference a month ago in Atlanta and one of the presenters talked about carrying around blank cards to get client information. Seems logical a performer would use the occasion to "do a little something!" j |

I can cover the white, but it's nicer to mask the starkness of the white against the black - from a distance (stage) you can be much more casual with the holding without any worry of a flash.
My routine is "weddings" and sometimes getting information from a bride (since brides don't carry business cards) and on the field I write the "colors" of her theme, or her "dinner option" or I ask the spectator if they were invited (besides their spouse) who would they take to a wedding. So I can read a food item, a color or person's name all with the same patter |

Can anyone tell me if there is an appreciable difference between this and the original outlaw business card peek wallet (the one sold with the name personalized in the peek area? I have the latter (and absolutely love the simplicity of it) and have to imagine having another with similar properties for $10 is a steal. Thoughts from those who have seen both?

I actually like this, my only concern is that the "backward business cards" are in English. So I redesigned them in German and had them printed.
I contacted Jeff Kaylor if I am allowed to give the PDF for free to German fellow magicians, so that they can print their own cards. If anybody is interested, I'll tell you as soon as I have received Jeff's answer. |

It's not a clever peek but rather a peek that is simple and classic. What do you need a performance for? Figure it out. Put the card in the peek slot and secretly look at the information. If you've never peeked information before in a mentalism routine, you should probably read some classic Annemann or Corinda books first. What did mentalists do prior to 1980 when there was no internet, DVDs, videos etc? |
