What is the difference between something happening "all by its self" or "automatically"?
the former is a well known suggestion, the latter is the suggestion from the automatic imagination model, they seem the same to me.

Personally I would say its the results you get with hypnosis and not the "involuntariness" that's important. hypnosis is just a means to an end not the end itself. That includes entertainment or therapy or performance enhancement.I guess it really depends upon your values and intentions.

I'm curious why is "involuntariness important"? Perhaps for low level activities and basic stunts words aren't important but for more subtle applications of hypnosis around therapy and performance enhancement words and precise process suggestions are extremely important.
