I had to post this after sitting down for hours with the man himself, I am at this point still speechless, I am also writing this because I don’t think people give credit where credit is due, and I believe Walter has got to be one of the best mentalists of our time. I have learned more about the core fundamentals of mentalism in the last couple hours than the last couple years. I also never knew how powerful a simple reading was until I saw Walter demonstrate it at a bar with a couple of hot chicks at the same time. His advice has got to be some of the best sound and in your face about the business I have received in the last 5 years, he is a genius and I thank you sir for spending all that time with me and literally saving my career.

And.... He is a GREAT kisser!

Walter certainly has an extremely sharp mind. My conversations with him have always left me with either a moment of clarity, a stitch in my side form laughing too much, or $50 short... because he jedi mind tricked me in to pickingup that tab. O.K... The last one is a blatant lie... but, Im sure he could achieve such a feat if he felt the desire.

Proud to call him a friend.... and pray that he makes it to MindVention THIS year.... as his presence was sorely missed in 2012.

Pucker up, Walter!!! Smile

His "Four Pillars of Mentalism" is a fantastic workbook for learning who you are in mentalism!

Ill take your word on that Paul.

And yes extremely lucky! I am definitely a better mentalist, and a better person after spending time with him.

Relatively soon is the answer he's given me. Paul, I'm sure he is. I mean, he's half Columbian and half French. How could he not be? And those soulful eyes...

I just noticed Walter's pitch book on his website.

Cool idea!

However, I am a little confused.

Does Walter advocate that we tell people we wrote a book even though we didn't?

Granterg,

The pitchbook is designed for back of room sales. In essence you become the name as the author of the book. How you wish to present yourself is up to you. Many who use BOR materials did not write them, but instead purchased the right to.

Think of it as branding or buying a license to distribute as your own with in limitations outlined. I do advocate that every presenter use BOR sales. If not you are leaving money on the table. Some will sell third party magic kits or others books. But let me ask you why do that when you can purchase the right to distribute a book with your name on it and promote your brand.

You know Tom Clancy books are written by ghost writers too. All I stress is if you ever use a BOR book read what is being said in it first. That way you know what it's about.

Pm'd you

Cheers,
Walter

Yes. It's very common, even among the "big name" TV psychics, to have books ghost written which they can sell under their own name. If writing is not your forte, you hire a professional to do it for you. Ed Fowler, Loren Tindal, Docc Hilford, and John Riggs (among others) all sell pitch books as part of their product line. Your name and typically a biography are attached to the book as author and you print them and sell them to your audiences. "Back of the Room" sales can be quite lucrative since in some cases, your pitch book is keyed to correspond to a tic sheet that is used in the reading. Mevproshop has several excellent packages.

John,
Your right to mention mevpro they have quite a selection.
What is important for the performer is making sure the pitchbook content/theme matches who they are and what they do

Walter

He helped me identify a 500 yr. old artifact.
Thought, the item could have been haunted! Yes,Haunted!
He contacted me,on a post I had made!
It was not a post on 'Penny',but Walter was kind enough to take his time to help me out!
He is one of the good guys, here! Smile
