Talk about weird, kn the commedy film "Weird Science" two young fellows conjure up a beautiful woman for themselves...then somehow she disappears later on.
The presentation makes the magic.

Your not Beavis.
You must be the other one. Just joking I would never say this, but I've felt like it a few times. If the boys are being pills. I say girls when you grown up don't marry them. Did a school carnival and when I got there the kids had already eaten: Cotton Candy and Snow Cones. It didin't matter what control I used they were just CRANKED Up on Sugar Did the show, got paid and left.

This thread was not initiated to bash standard lines. It was created to applaud the work other types of entertainers put into their scripts.
There is so much thought and creativity put into professional performances of all kinds.

I've gotten some of my best "lines" from my audience. I once had a kid guess that the balloon animal I was making was a cockroach, from that point on I started "mis-hearing" their guesses and blurting out "WHO SAID COCKROACH?" It backfired one time when I performed for an audience where the kids had in fact seen cockroaches. The mom took it personally--but that's a topic for another thread. Sometimes you learn to bait the audience for a line. I give a clue that the animal I'm going to make is extinct. I noticed that kids kept guessing skunk. So, now I'm always looking for the "skunk" guess--to which I respond "I said extinct, not STINKS!" Always good for a laugh.
