I was recently enjoying using American quarters due to being well known to whom I perform for. Curiosity became the best of me, and I wanted to invest in a set of silver quarters. Would the sound/feeling of silver for such a small object be the same as if I used my Barber/WL coins? Is it worth the extra money knowing to the audience that they are just regular quarters?
Current things to work on: Everything loops, Pinky count, Coins coins coins...

I have some silver quarters but I only use the more common clad quarters for magic. Mainly because quarters are great in that you can borrow them from spectators, especially anyone who seems suspicious of your silver half dollars. Using their coins pretty much dispels any possible suspicions of "trick coins". The silver quarters looks nice - I have Barbers and they look just like Barber half dollars - just smaller! But IMO they don’t add anything to a performance.
