Thanks for the help and advice guys - much appreciated.
I use the hook up and routine off 'Chill' by Tom Wright. Its done right in the hands of the spectator - very powerful. Thanks again!

Hi fellas,
hope it's ok to post this link on the Café; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zc1CIkjhqts The young fella doesn't really reveal the "hookup" so I'm not sure he'e doing much damage. His conclusion, coupled with the magicians' thoughts on this thread, seems to come down to: Invisible offers a pretty good, not the very best, R**l for $40.00, and a very innovative hookup for an extra $5.00 I so respect Zombie's opinions so I think I might buy both "Invisible" as well as the Terry Lunceford teaching. |

Its a shame you cant just buy a download of the teaching as most people will already have an ITR. Or be given the option of downnload, DVD or DVD with gimmick.

I know Prince. I love the new Cameron Francis offerings for $7.00 to $9.00 as downloadable teaching.
There is most likely a $20.00 or so profit selling the device so I can also understand those kind of offerings from a marketing company since website Band Width and all can be expensive. I think Invisible is a good value. BUT!!! Understanding the higher costs doesn't mean I can always afford them! I've seriously been considering declaring myself "THE NATION OF TRUE INVENTOR" and threatening war against the U.S., like the North Korean chubby little dictator does, hoping our Government will also try to appease me with a lot of Benjamins... a great many of which I would spend on magic thereby boosting the economy...It's a win-win all around so I may just go for it! |

While the ITR is nothing new, the hookup and the handlings are really superb! This is probably the best IT DVD I have ever seen! I don't mind paying for an extra ITR, as this DVD is one to go into the library and I like to be able to watch the DVD whether connected to the internet or not. I have a little getaway cabin in the mountains, and I love to take the laptop and watch DVDs like this. Good stuff.

KJ ,
You sound like my kind of people! Or, as my African-American daughter "Ojee" would say: "My kind of Peeps" Watching a great magic DVD at your get-a-way cabin in the mountains? THAT is an experience and a memory worth having! I've been back and forth and back on Invisible and had decided to go ahead and order it, your post makes me ever so glad I did. |

I agree with KJs assessment. I continue to find this extremely practical but only for the ring levitation. The haunted deck is way easier and cleaner with loops. I tried the coin routine with the kicker ending with the S...l and simply didn't like it. I couldn't make it go across without looking like sliding on well....IT
LOOPS do most of the other routines better in my opinion but the ITR and ring hookup are worth the price alone in my opinion.

HI Dannicus,
Hi professor"who" (any relation to "The Doctor?") Do you have a particular "How to do the Haunted Deck with Loops" presentation you would recommend? I have Yigal's "Loops" but haven't had the chance to study it yet. Very anxious, too, to have Damien's "Invisible" up an screen to study. |

I would say doing Chill, or a variation of it, using the Invisible hookup is a great idea. One nice thing there is I can add a convincer to the skeptics that there is nothing attached to the deck, and you can even do a variation of it underneath a clear bowl, etc.
The basic premise of the haunted deck with Loops is in Yigal's booklet. I have performed a personal variation of that extensively, and have tweaked the motions, etc. to really streamline the loops version. I have a video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHDzXAiq2zw while many may not see a difference at first glance, those who have studied the loops version will notice a few differences. There are some things I needed to adapt to show this video that I made awhile ago, mainly because I can't have the spectator take the card, but you'll get the gist of it. To me, the few subtleties added here are really what count. (note, my wife was sleeping nearby, hence the lack of presentation/patter). |

WHOA BUDDY!
That was GREAT sgtgrey! Thankyou for providing the Link! I didn't know the hidden treasure I've been sitting on with Yigal's methods and LOOPS. Several Café members have nudged me to look at what I have more often than I do and I know they are right... but your video gave me the extra "push" I needed to look at Loops. I have GOT to make time to study this! I don't know what you might have tweaked, but if my performance can eventually approach what you did sgt., it will be great! Thank you again sgtgrey for that video! |

Thanks, Trueinventor. Professor....if you check out my link above, you'll notice I used an adaption of the replacement move Kranzo teaches on that DVD set. I wouldn't say Guerrilla Guide to Loops was 100% solid material, but I definitely thought it was worth the $. I learned a lot about loops from that DVD set.

Really nice! You should publish that handling because it is really clean! Best loop haunted deck I have ever seen.

I use a lot less finger motion and hand movement because I go for a more spooky theme/story and I want it to appear as if the cards are moving by themselves. It really comes down to your performance style. Great video by the way Sgt. loops are awesome and so versatile. last week a lady was sitting at the table with a mixed drink. There was ice in the glass and a straw sticking up. Imagine her surprise when the drink began to stir itself as I waved my hands over the glass. you can literally do unlimited impromptu miracles with loops. just use your imagination.
