Luckily it was a baby. There are big asteroids out there, and scientists recently re-dated the Chicxulub event, concluding that it did indeed cause the extinction of most of the dinosaurs.

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars Then peace will guide the planets And love will steer the stars Epect the unexpected in these times. The big one passed earth safely just after, which was lucky but a close thing.

So, were we all aware thanks to our super-advanced technology?
Also known, when doing rope magic, as "Cordini"

Well no and yes. The one in Russia they say was too small to be picked up by our super-advanced technology. The big one though they could, it was picked up and tracked and they knew it would not hit us.

My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Exploded with the force of a 3 megaton bomb.
It broke every window in town, -20 degrees F tonight. That's assume.

It's a wonder it didn't cause all the buildings in the world to collapse symmetrically into their own footprint, at free fall speed.

It's just put another dent in the official one.
The latest official conspiracy theory version of 9/11 by the way is the plane fuel did not melt the metal girders but the fire made them expand causing all the buildings to explode, including the one down road. Perhaps this thing in Russia is part of it that flew up into space and has just come back down to earth. Funny how it happened to hit the last bit of ice left on the planet after all this global warming. I wonder if the last of the polar bears managed got off it in time?
