Been looking for a place to purchase a half dollar gimlet and have not been having much luck. Does anyone know a place to purchase one or is it best just to make one at home?

Whilst not a traditional gimlet coin with the h**e in the c***re of the coin, the Garrett Thomas effect / gaffs "Profile / Skewer " has a gaff that has the work offset on the coin and allows a display with the coin at an angle. And the Profile gimmick is worth the price of the set.

Doug, that coin looks like the hole may be too small.

Hi Ramin! It might be. It fits my first finger tip up to the end of the nail. I use it to do a version of Karate Coin. Sometimes I use my pinky finger. Fits up to the first knuckle. Depending on the size of your fingers, your mileage may vary.

Makes sense, it just looked small in the picture. I didn't know if you had tried one.

That is a good deal, I'm going to give this a try. Thanks
