Is it too late for me to submit my ring and rope routine?

Always loved Ray Grismer's routine. You can find it in and old issue of Genii and in one of Jerry Mentzer's Close-up magic books.

Lawrence, what a great resource you are! We owe a debt to you, with just this nearly encyclopedic ring and rope list.
Most sincerely, Scott |

Now some of us feel the urge to design their own routine with their own script and, even if we may wish not to reinvent the wheel, we like improving on our routines with ideas, subtleties and feints discovered over the years by very good performers before including our own personal thoughts or moves or effects. These may not be on the excellent DVD you mention.

First of all I must say thank you to Lawrence, he has a lot of knowledge!!!
In fat, about Lawrence's knowledge I have two theories: 1. He has about 1000 years! 2. His day has something about 100 hours or more! Anyway, I'm very pleased because he shares all these jewels with us!!! Thanks so much Lawrence!!! |

I begin with Miller's "Relentless Ring and String" (knot appears, disappears, ring appears on string). I then do the "splittling ends move" showing the ring on the string and letting the spectator pull it off. Subsequently I move into a few moves from "Ring Leader" (Discrepant Insertion, Fake Take/Suicide drop, Air Strike, the one where 2 spec's hold each end and Gold medal). For my finale I obviously use the Clifton Ring move and use my Delxe Nest Of Wallets.
I just love setting my cards down for a bit for ring/rope miracles. So visual, so fun! |

For posterity sake, have you considered (or are they already) making them available as open source for others to fill up ? cheers VG |
