Does it require a table or chair or is it stand alone?

A bit of a different twist, but I have yet to see anything that comes close to Casino Royale for simplicity and effect...

Can be done with, or without an assistant.

I find that VERY hard to believe. If without assistant I can't imagine the prediction to be very sensational..

How do you "FORCE" the prediction on the spectator ? Espicially when its not playing cards lol. I recieved the master prediction system from Malloy this week and I love it, I was lucky enough to see your posts. I'm planning to add an audio prediction in the near future. But how do you "FORCE" the prediction on the spectator ?! Thanks.

Also may I know the name of the book that has Jim Steinemyer's prediction chest that he doesn't touch ? Thank you very much.

The box is down, the spectator is on stage, I'm bout to open the box, and I'm like let's do one last thing, something amazing, magical, a card trick, at the end, I fail to find it, I'm like ok, let's proceed, and the prediction says at the end, great show even if I didn't find the "4 of spades"

Do you have any other force method that can be convincing ?

Thanks a lot

I wrote about the prediction chest of Hans Kazan and can tell you that
even a last force in not necessary. The box is all the time visual on stage,
standing on the table. No assistent coming on stage and no special key etc.

I vote for this one as the best one man, big reveal version. But I'm biased

Thought I would revive this thread since I'm working on improving / reworking my current prediction (which is Cody Fishers excellent comedy confabulation).

I love Cody's routine and method. The only problem is the prediction still ends up on a regular size piece of paper. It's a good trick... but I want to elevate this to a real show closer and I feel like it needs something extra.

Obviously Bill Abbotts No brainer comes to mind... I haven't bought it yet, which is odd because I have pretty much everything he has put out! ha. I like how his version does end with a large prediction that can be seen by the audience.

I am thinking about a prediction chest as well.. like the Master Prediction Chest or Fairchild version....

Would love to hear thoughts of anyone performing a prediction effect regularly.

In my opinion, it doesn't matter much what version you use, it's all about the presentation. I've seen most of the boxes including, Fairchild's and the Crystal Clear (unfortunately accidentally exposed during a live performance by the biggest duo in mentalism.) I bought the Malloy as it's a very classy piece (not too worried about it looking normal) and I purchased Wellington Table bases to match so it packs small. To me, this is nice as it gets as it plays big and packs small. Everyone has their own thoughts but that's what I went for.

Thanks mike! Yeah the MPS has my eye... I agree it looks classy and that’s something I’m going for as well.

I have owned MPS and the Revelation Chest. While both are excellent, I prefer the Revelation Chest. It is less expensive and yields the same result. I liked reaching into the chest and grabbing the prediction envelope as opposed to the tube used in the MPS. Far less fumbling and a much larger envelope with the Revelation Chest. My 2 cents!
