Is it ok to chinese cut? If you're not familiar with the concept, when in line, the person in front of you would allow someone else to cut them so they're not cutting you. I have employed this stragety multiple times in my days @ the Cafégymitorium. It doesn't seem unethical.... Until one day it happened to me.

We used to pull off the old "If I can get in front of you, I'll let you get in front of me."
Cuts are cuts. Not OK unless it's OK with all affected.

So if its said to someone who isn't in line does said person exit the line? Wouldnt it be the same? Or does said person stay in the line? It would still be the same either way wouldnt it?

There's a line...I want to cut...not allowed....I go up to friend Irma and say, winking, Can I cut in? Let me in front of you and I'll let you in front of me."
She lets me cut, I get ahead of her then I let her in front of me. I've cut the line and Irma doesn't get someone new in front of her. I get to cut in, because, as any High Schooler knows, you can cut if you get someone's permission.

As we said circa 1975, "No cuts, no buts, no coconuts.". No exceptions, either.

My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

Wanna really p*ss people off? Ask someone on line (that's a New Yorker-ism; the rest of the world says in line) if you can get in back of them. Then watch the fun begin!

What about a vegan? They can use coconut milk instead of cow or goats milk. At least this way they get to enjoy lucky charms.

I used to go to a lot of concerts in Chicago during the 70s. Many of these involved waiting in line. (especially at the Aragon Brawl Room where it was first come first serve) Security watched for line cutters and if you got caught you went to the back of the line. If someone let you cut they went to the back of the line with you.

Trust me eternity rice milk is way betta then soy milk. As a matter of fact, rice milk is better than cow milk. I have no idea how they make sunflower milk out of sunflowers. Its an acquired taste.

I have the term Chinese Cut, much like Indian giver, extremely offensive and racist.
