I agree that the only thing wrong about the Manning case is that it has already taken far too long to escort him to the gallows.

So I guess that justice thing only goes so far. Oh well.

Of course I think he should have his fair trial first, landmark. But I agree that it is taking too long. It is also taking too long to try the Fort Hood jihadist, but I'm not sure if the UCMJ requires a speedy trial.

There is such an animal Bob. It is middle ground. Welcome to the island.

Each party has been co-opted by morons who are power hungry. The ideology is pretty and keeping it.

In the future I can seriously see a third party evolving formed from the ignored of each side sick of being ignored.

Jihadist? What Jihadist? Ft. Hood is officially governmentally classified as "workplace violence."

You mean you seriously don't think that the regulatory power of the government is necessary to resolve the problem of obesity?

Mississippi just passed an anti Bloomberg law, and with a 35% obesity rate I think it could shoot up to 40% very soon. Those good old boys in Mississippi sure showed mayor Bloomberg that they have the unalienable right to die young.

The whole concept of "pro choice" is a joke, especially since it ONLY applies to pregnant women. It's just a coined phrase for pro abortionists. In every other area of our lives the government seems to have or desire the power to choose for us, making any other choice on our part illegal (for our own safety of course).

If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Why such a hater Al?

Every post you have is hate filled name calling. Take a break and mellow out some. Stop trying to run everyone's life and just worry about your own.

I never saw someone so angry. Is there anything you don't hate over or call names about?

The only regulations I agree with are those that establish nutritional standards for public school lunches and those that require nutritional information on product packaging.

My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums.

When was the last time you had a public school lunch?

That's irrelevant. I'm just saying that promulgating minimal nutritional standards is hardly governmental overreach. Irresponsible fund stripping, resulting in cuts to school budgets, is another issue entirely. (Although it is directly related to any decline in the quality of school lunches.)

Al is providing a valuable public service, demonstrating to young and impressionable minds that pot does not make people mellow or lead to peace, love and understanding.

He is doing more to discourage marijuana smoking than all the anti-drug people here combined.
