I posted this in the rings and things forum but I thought maybe I should post it here as well.
I have a set of sponge bunnies I bought from Steve Dacri. The routine is use is basically this... I show one bunny, split it into two. One bunny jumps from my left hand to join the one in my right hand. One bunny jumps from my hand to join the one in their hand. A third one appears in their hand. Two in the pocket, One in the hand with a vanish of all three balls. What I'm looking for is a good way to finish with a jumbo bunny. Anybody have any good ideas? I don't mind changing my routine. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a similar routine. I finish it off by having them close their hands with 2 bunnies, and when they open their hand there is an explosion of about 10 bunnies....
There are many different ways to cut an apple.

Check out http://www.magicshop.com They have a killer set of bunnies that are hand painted (airbrushed) and I believe they come with a couple of routines. If not, email Brad at the shop and he can help you out. I guarantee it!

I have the 3D multiplying bunny set, and I recently bought a jumbo 3D bunny. I just end the routine with asking what happens if we try to fuse all the bunnies together (mama bunny, papa bunny, and 5 baby bunnies). When the spectator opens his hand, out pops a jumbo bunny. Still trying to figure out the best way to switch all the bunnies into the big bunny in the spectator's hand.

The bunnies you see sold there, and elsewhere, are based on his handmade, and hand painted, ones. If you want a set of exquisite and professional looking rabbits that are also durable, get a hold of him. And if you don't want rabbits he can pretty much make whatever you want. You can get a hold of him by phone at 412-462-1557. The full set: jumbo, 2 adults 4 kids, 2 off-colored kids goes for around $48.00. While it is more expensive than the other set, they are just better looking and are a good investment if you are a working profeesional. Mat Random |

Here is my routine with my sponge bunnies that might help.
I show the 2 bunnies. You hold one and the spec holds one. I do the "look they switched places" thing. Then I say, "Some people think I am switching their names. You can tell them apart because one is upside down and the other is right side up." I say, "Let's do it again." "I hold one and you hold the other one." I open my hand and act surprised and start looking for it. They open their hand and have 2. I say, "You were holding too tight. Here, let me get out their friend." I take a 3rd out of my pocket (hiding a 4th). I put one in their hand, then 2 in their hand (really 3). I I say, "I will put this one in my pocket." I snap my fingers, they open their hand, and there are now 3 in their hand. I say, "Ok, now I will make them vanish in your hand." I reach into my pocket with my left hand to get a magic wand as I pick up all 3 bunnies with my right hand. It's not in that pocket so I come out holding the big bunny concealed and then I false transfer the 3 into the hand with the big one. I go into the other pocket, leave the 3, and come out with the #2 pencil for a wand. I put the big bunny into the spec's hand and they think it is the 3 bunnies. Wave the wand and they open their hand and see they didn't disappear, but a jumbo rabbit appeared. Hope this helps PM me if you want me to elaborate more. Shawn D |

Mat Random,
I have heard great things about the Eddie Acer sponge bunnies. Is there anywhere online that I can see a picture of them? Thanks. - Dave Schwartz ************* I posted this in the other jumbo sponge bunnies thread, but it bears repeating. If you are looking for a GREAT switch of multiple sponge bunnies to a jumbo bunny, look at Steve Dacri's video: Master Routines. The routine is just about perfect, and his sponge work in incredible. The entire routine is well motivated, and leaves you totally clean. - Dave Schwartz |
