There is a TV series called MY STRANGE ADDICTION, with weird addictions such as eating chalk, etc. The most recent one I saw was a man who is addicted to balloons. His house is filled with balloons. But what baffles me is that he regards the balloons as Ladies! In other words, the balloons is a romantic relationship as he actually kisses and caresses them. Can any of you balloon artists explain how he can conceive of the balloons as an actual romantic relationship? http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2013/0......-fetish/

There are people who have a fetish with "popping" the balloons. They have clubs where they all get together and blow up balloons until they pop and when it happens, they have a climatic experience similar to an orgasm. I saw a story on this a year or so back on I believe this same program. Not sure if this is the same story you're talking about...?

When I was in high school a friend called me over to a computer secretly and said that I would be interested in something. He was being earnest and not poking fun. It was a balloon fetish site. Needless to say he did not remain my friend much longer. Although I was confused by what I saw I did know that I had to get my hands on some one those giant Tilly balloons!

Some might be totally real, and I bet all (or most) are based on some truth, but I think that the producers probably push for a little embellishment and then nudge it further in the editing room. Just my two cents

I stopped being friends with someone b/c they told me that they had a fetish with Women's Shoes. He would buy them for himself and then do "strange" things with them and he got off on it. It was really creepy and over the course of the next year I slowly distanced myself from him. There are many things that people should keep to themselves and things like this are one of them!
