Any place from where I can get a Magnetic Slippery Sliding Shell that locks the coin because of magnetism instead of locking shell? Thanks for help.

I put a shim under some mouse tape on mine and use a magnetic coin that I already had. it works great and you only have to deal with the thickness of the shim in between (which is minute) rather than a gap the size of whatever magnet you find, the thinnest I have found so far through K&Jmagnets.com is 1/32. way to much of a gap in my opinion.
A magnetic coin and a small piece of shim and some mouse tape are all fairly acsessable although depending on the magnetic coin (Morgan Dollar for example) may be a bit pricey but well worth it. P.S. I special ordered my magnetic Morgan from Mark Mason then I got a NGF Flipper from him too and shimmed my own Morgan shell with mouse tape and now I have a triception set piece by piece. to go with my walker half set that I bought outright with the dvd and all. hope this helps you or at least gets you thinking in the right direction.

I would swear that Todd Lassen makes one like that. Or he could if he doesn't.

Todd does not make many slippery sams. he says they are very fragile and prone to breaking.

The reason I say that is I called him last week with an order. When I asked him about a Slippery Eisenhower, he said he does not like to make slippery S*#*ls because they are very prone to breaking.

Sorry, sarcasm doesn't translate well, see smiley face. It was an attempt at humor, I own many Lassen, Mogar , tango, Johnson and my treasured Mark Mason / Bob Swadling arsenal. My only slippery Sam Gimmic right now is a tango I got in a trade and I shimmed it and use it with a magnetic Morgan. ( luckily, no problems so far with it)

I never see anything but his mag coins on Joe Mogar's website.

Joe pretty much has the full line. Go to his site and look down the list of links. You'll find them.

All I could find is his Magical Morgans page, which only mentioned mag coins. And his Chinese coins page which only had Chinese coins.
I spent a good while looking last night and if I missed them, well, that should be a good indicator they are too hard to find. |

Hey say currently out of stock but if you call Joe, he will probably either have some and hasn't updated the page or he can tell you when he can have them for you. I have bought a couple things that "were currently out of stock" Joe is a very good guy, he answers the phone or call back if you leave a msg. He is very good to deal with. I read somewhere ( Bowers I believe) that he gets most or some of his coins from Kreis (not sure on spelling) so it may just be a matter of him ordering one in for you if he doesn't stock it. Also, I bought a magnetic Morgan from Mark Mason they are not listed on the site and I had to wait for a while but I did get it and am happy with it although I do wish the magnet was just a tad stronger. Joes are advertised as "super strong" I find it always best just to call.

Auke Van Dokkum http://www.cupsandballs.nl/ can make one. I got one and other custom coins from him around 4-5 years ago. Much much cheaper than Lassen or Schoolcraft and really nice quality as well.

Interesting sidenote: I was using dictation on my iPhone to make a to do list, one of which was to email Roy Kueppers. I said "Email Roy Kueppers about coin" and it actually spelled Kueppers 100% correct! But I can't get it to recognize the word coin for the life of me. Comes up queen or loin or a hundred other things but has never gotten coin right???? |

I would reach out to Mark Mason & Bob Swadling via JB Magic. I would be very surprised if they could not help you out. They did a custom coin for me that is fantastic. The craftsmanship is great while the pricing is very reasonable. Good luck, hope this helps.
