I was privileged enough to be able to see Nathan Kranzo lecture last night. He is on a lecture tour and my friend arranged for him to do a lecture. He was staying with a friend of mine so I got to hang out with him before and after the lecture. His lecture was great. He did some truly remarkable card and coin magic. After the lecture we went down and ate at a local bar and jammed. He showed us some terrific card magic. This guy is someone to look out for. He has a great sense of humor and is a very creative magician. If you are ever able to witness him perform, you will not be disappointed.

I had heard of Nathan Kranzo, and was impressed by what I heard. So I purchased one of Nathan's Manuscripts from his site, and although there were some great effects there, the manuscript assumed a level of knowledge that was way beyond me.

I am sure that one-on-one or in a lecture where you might have a chance to ask questions, he would be great. He really aappears to be quite an artist with cards.

I assume you are talking about his "Things with Cards" manuscript. I hadn't really thought about it but I guess he does assume you have a pretty thorough knowledge of cards. Although his manuscript may be pretty advanced, the material he taught in his lecture was not too difficult and could be mastered quite easily if the right amount of effort was put in to it. And yes, he is very skilled with the cards as well as coins.

I also spent some time with Nathan after his lecture in Tampa and his best stuff came after the lecture was over.

Ask him to show you the jumping finger ring if you see him lecture. This will blow your mind.

Nathan currently is demonstrating at Magicland in Dallas.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".
