I'm looking for dollar-sized gold-plated coins for a Miser's Dream routine. They don't have to be palming coins, although that would be nice. I've thought about getting some palming coins gold-plated. Anyone have any luck with something similar? I want a good ring when they land in the bucket, and since I want 20-30 coins, something cheaper than buying actual gold coins would be nice!

Certain Vegas casinos have Gold colored dollar sized coins. They only cost a dollar each. They make a great ring when they hit the tray in the slot machine Smile

I have some from the Luxor, Flamingo, Caesars Palace, and Venetian that appear to have a gold coloring.

Try spray painting silver dollars or Norm Nielsen coins. That is what I do. Instead of painting them, you can get them gold plated.
