Does any of you have made modifications to the Viktor Voitko Levitation?
When the table and the chair move, the motion is not quite smooth.
I want to fix this and I have already spoken to Viktor himself but he doesn't know how to solve this.
Suggestions are welcome Smile

Switch to a cb radio 12 volt transformer. We have had better motor and
electronic function since doing this .I don't mind a cable as the fog machine
has one. It is still not perfect but better.

Hi Jaynet,

Thanx for the reply Smile
We have the system running on 220 Volts.
It seems like I have an older version since Viktor told me that the first few were not as good as the ones he made later.
I'll have to experiment with other motors or some kind of spring that can absorb and smooth out the shaky motions.

I bought one of the first in 2009 so I can sympathise.
I replaced all the relays and transistors in the control box.
Using the transformer really helped smooth out the motion.
The bqattery creates spikes and fluctuates the voltage.
Mega Watt S-400-12 is what we use and it is usable for 240 volt.

Did you also have trouble/malfunctions with the relays and transistors because you replaced them or did you put in better quality "just in case"? Smile
Thank you for your input Smile

You are welcome. To answer your queston. Yes we were having
intermittent failure. The wires were stapled to the side of
the control box. I drilled the box to make a hole and released
the wires. I will eventually put a connector on these as
right now they are just loose. I was still having failure of the
motors but it was less. I replaced all the relays and rectifiers
and attached the transformer and now it it is 100% reliable
and smooth. It id also somewhat quieter. Hope this helps.

Best of luck. It is a great illusion and Viktor is a genius.
We love that the girl can float in various directions.
Most floatings are too linear. The audiences really love it.

Just to note. We carry black velvet curtains and we have made
Black velvet collars to help hide the gimmick.
Lighting is also key.

Thanks for the extensive info
We also have the black collar on the illusion.
And yes, Viktor is a genius Smile

The sawing I see on your 2013 promotional video, is that the one from Bill Smith?
You have quite an impressive collection of illusions in your show Smile Wow!

Guys, we are deciding now what colour of cloth make on that illusion. Black/grey, dark green/light green (Voitko version) or dark blu/light blue (I want this)
What can you tell about the colour of the cloth?
The backstage should be absoultely black or can be dark?

Thanks for you help!!!

Depends on your show colors and design. Same with curtains.
Several people have performed it with lights behind the illusion.
Our colors and lighting design are all co-ordinated to our specific
requirements. Please check out Voitko's web site for more info.
