Ad says "The combination of material and pattern design make this the most deceptive Egg Bag EVER!"
http://youtu.be/Tl3vVEs2_SQ?t=29s I can clearly see the bulge of the egg in the bag. I mean, it really stands out. |

I also noticed that, it may not be the best choice of material. It also seems to be a bit too big to give optimal deceptiveness. But it is a nice idea using a drawstring.

Legacy Malini Egg Bag by Lynetta Welch
from Denny's magic is the ultimate egg bag, hands down but the Mikame is also a great bag, get your hands on one of the Lynetta Welch bags and you'll probably agree with Lance Burton & Denny Haney that this is the ultimate egg bag to use for Professionals. Plus once you've attended Denny's egg bag workshop, you'll be totally convinced... Bill |

You don't need a video demo... just trust us when we say her bag and the Ken Brooke routine cannot be beat.

Frank Starsini of ambitiouscard.com seems to have some very well made egg bag (which, by the way, are 25% off the retail price).

At half the price of the Welch Egg Bag, the Pauline Tong Egg Bag (in a synthetic crepe de chine) is also very good, and also available from Mr. Denny Haney's shop. It also goes very well with the Ken Brooke publication. And you also need to use the right sort of egg, of course. Something that may be of interest concerning the Welch Egg Bag, is the fact that it also comes in an identical-appearing un-gimmicked version, enabling the simple bag to be used in another effect first, completely examined by the audience, and then re-introduced for the egg bag routine.

Looks like I'll be hitting the Paypal button 2x. It doesn't get cheap to be informed especially on variations on classic props.

I like the Fab Manip bag as well but made some adjustments in size and added an indicator (in addition to the double row of stitching) to help orient the bag if needed. I love the trick. All the better bags have a stiffer material and a large pocket opening. Small pocket openings are unnecessary but are a popular feature of all the cheapo bags that use cheap thin material.

There are better egg bags than Mikame's..........and Denny Haney reccomends and uses the Dan Tong Egg bag, not the Lynetta Welch egg bag....

Lynn Healy (once married to Jeff Busby) now living in England in the computer business made the best Malini egg bags ever. Don't know if she still makes them I have two, on black one maroon.

Busby also sold the first (as far as I know) Fifty dollar egg bag. Lynn Healy made them, then. I have a Sterling/Mardo bag that she must have made. I was in Seattle and stopped to visit the IBM ring's meeting. They were having a "swap meet". I stopped at a table and picked up a Sterling/Mardo bag. It looked and felt NEW, I could not find the "you know what"!, and thought perhaps it was a dupe bag that could be switched in (or out).
After several minutes, I found "it"! (It was that well made! I asked the guy how much he wanted for it. He said $5.00. Like the old Svengali pitchmen said, "I nearly tore my underwear, getting out my wallet! I've used it for about ten seasons, and it looks like I just bought it. I like the Malini bag. I bought one of the first from Fran Marshall, and later one from Mrs. Tong. But for school kids, I prefer the Mardo.

The first really good Mardo bags (Actually Tarbell's) were made by Mardo's wife, Lyn Castell. (After that, Martin Lewis' Mum made the best ones.) I got one from her when they move to Oakland and he worked at Morcom's House of Novelties, where I also worked. Mardo taught me the bag, the cups and balls, and how to cut/restore rope. He then opened a magic shop down the street from Morcom's and had me paint the signs on his store front. (I was working as a sign painter then). He didn't pay me. I bugged him and he kept saying he didn't have any money. So, one day I went into his shop and selected a number of props off his shelves. Then said, "I don't have any money, but I figure what I have selected would cover the bill you owe me."
