Is anyone here familiar with something called a Chaplin Lift ? I think it's for a disappearance but have never heard the term before.

Reminds me of Kevin James doing his chaplin lift with the Chaplin doll he builds and comes to life, then carries off with one finger under his nose... a sort of levitation.?????????

Kevin James was the only connection I could come up with, too. I believe it's a mechanical one man lift, but can't find any other info on it.

It is very clever and fun to watch,good luck on your search, I will keep my eye on this post.
