Yesterday, my teacher showed me a function that is found in most programming languages. IT is called the IEEE Remainder function. He was confused that putting 17/3 would equal -1, or 23/5 would equal -2. After searching it up and explaining it, we deduced the equation.
x-(yQ) Okay, we know the equation, but what is it actually used for? I mean, what applications does it have other than to find some number? Any help would be appreciated. |
