I love Copperfield's newer work...
But I feel here, the older version is better. Copperfield's "The Attic". The original... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_Y2zy1Wpeg Later updated version... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpv-KMN3SRI

Say no more. although for those that didn't see the 79 version, this went very well. |

Yea the newer has a lot of fluff but its still great! The old one though felt more real. Either way great stuff!!

Interesting to see both. Not only did I like the presentation better in the first one, but the updated version seemed to reveal the method a bit.

The original method was better for me, hands down. Everything about it came across as more endearing and 'genuine' to me.

Imho, Copperfield should go back to his theatrical storytelling style.
With all the acting and backstory.

I liked the old one better also, even like the dog vanish. I don't think the method would really be obvious to most people (the girl vanish), but that is one HUGE prop!
