Somehow a young man decided to move into the woods . . . 27 years ago. He appears to have lived absolutely alone the whole time, and only once exchanged a word or two with another person. He survived by burglarizing camps in the area. Story here.

Good for him. Except for the burglary. Just living his life.

Bizarre story. It's like his hard drive was formatted and nothing was reinstalled.
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

He must be barking mad.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Although I agree he is likely mad, and certainly a serial burglar who knows that his way of life was wrong, his faculties were enough intact to permit him to survive in solitude for 27 years.

Do you prefer walking sticks with the tree bark left on them or the stripped off sort?

I strip off the bark from only part of the sticks, when I make my own. I prefer in general a stout blackthorn stick with the bark and short branchlet spikes left on, although makes some of the traditional Bataireacht moves rather more difficult than they would be with a smooth stick.
