There must not be much going on in the news today if this is what grown men are arguing about.....lol. I second what the museum director stated.

I, like all of us here, wouldn't be posting if I didn't want attention. But my point was to exaggerate (barely) Bieber's cluelessness for those who didn't understand how self-serving it was.

I've been to the museum (1982) and in my opinion, Bieber is a primped and pampered child star, oblivious and ignorant of the world around him and expecting special treatment because of his star status; a couple of generations removed from the horrors that Anne Frank and her countrymen countrywomen, and much of the rest of the world at that time were faced with.
I had a close Dutch friend, now gone to his grave, who at the age of thirteen was forced at gunpoint to watch in terror as the Nazis publicly executed citizens in Amsterdam for the civilians that they were, whom the Nazis suspected/found guilty of sympathizing with or protecting Jews. I found the belieber comment self serving, immature, offensive and I'm angered by it; and I'm not a Jew.
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

Forget about all that other baloney, and get back on topic.
I'm a big music fan, and I wish someone besides me was interested in talking about some new releases that all the crappy music stations are not playing. Music that you can only hear on satellite or a few select NPR radio stations. New releases from heritage and new artists that will be nominated for next years grammys. Who here has heard the new Bowie album? How about the new Dawes album? Willie Nelson has a new double CD of old favorites? Has anyone heard the new Mavericks album? Has anyone besides me heard that new release from Steve Martin & Eddie Brickell it's off their new album together? Bobby Long's new album is a real knock out too The Rolling Stones will be playing at the Wells Fargo center in June my God. It doesn't get any better than this.

The good old days sucked. If you are not tuned to today's new music you only have yourself to blame. I have tickets to two shows at a nearby small music venue next month.
