Greetings

I just had s lovely evening with a magician friend going through some books that I acquired. He suggested I mention them on this forum as he says these would be of most interest to 'historians" and or collectors.

I would love to hear any opinions. These are part of five boxes of books. I have more books than I can ever read in a life time. I turned 67 on Saturday, hey, how many books can one read? I am keeping Rice, Tarbell, Slydini, Vernon and a bunch of others.

Here's the list Scot said to mention:

What's On Your Mind - Dunninger - Forum Books Edition - 1944
100 Houdini Tricks - Dunninger - Arco Pub Co - 1954

Marvels of Mystery - John Booth - 1946
Forging Ahead in Magic - John Booth - 2nd edition - 1944

* This one is very unique Leather Bound and consists of two "Booklets", Part I and Part 2 - Expert Manipulation - 200 Photographs - Burling Hull - 5th Edition 1928

The Expert at the Card Table - Erdnase - Enlarged Edition - 1944 - Hard Cover

I also have The Greater Magic Library, Volumes I - V - First Printing

PM me or comment here, any polite suggestions welcomed.

Thanks

Rik

Thanks for your evaluation Spartacus. They were to heavy to ship and it is garbage day today so I just threw the lot out.

Cheers

The effect is the important thing, how you achieve it is not.......

Everything there appears frequently on Ebay, almost weekly, with the exception of the Burling Hull books and the 5 volume Greater Magic. You can contact Byron Walker for an estimate on the Hull books. A first printing of the one vol. GM is more valuable than the 5 volume set.
