Hey everybody and thank you for taking the time to read this topic
I'll just be direct with my problematic

the thing is I like dice in general they are catchy and look cool especially the clear Acrylic ones... (I have a collection ^^ )
and that's the problem I had with "die-cipher" I wanted to perform the same "effect" with a normal looking dice without that box/container that comes with it.
doesn't matter if its gimm****d as long as it looks normal and inspectable
briefly is there any recommendations or orientations in this subject ,anybody to contact, books or a gimm****d dice to pick up or whatever it takes lol

cheers

Triple prediction - bob cassidy uses a dice
also chelman has some very nice routines involving dice, but you'll have to dig for that as I'm not home. (if you want the dice to be the actual center stage , chelman would be more in your alley I think)

Bob Cassidy has a way to justify what you are talking about don't recall which book it is in though.

And you will probably get better answers to this downstairs in the other forum.

THB :
I have one of christian chelman books its nice but it doesn't have any dice routines as far as I know
7 girls routine is only one iam aware of and its not a mindreading related effect in anyway

bdekolta :
looks interesting I'll try to look for this even if your reference is vague

again as reminder:
my question was, is there a way to do Die-Cipher type of effect with a normal looking dice?? (gimmicked or not and with no container just the dice) and where can I find it ??!

cheers Smile

Richard Osterlind's new "Whispering Die" is a great, high-quality, prop that is extreeeeeeeeemly clever.

I have one sitting on my desk at work, and LOVE it when someone asks me "What is in that little wood box?"

Have you looked at Multi Dimensional by Craig of ProMystic? http://www.promystic.com/multi-dimensional.html
It's a Die that can be held in a spectator's hand, they choose a number and you know which number is chosen. No peeks. You can be blindfolded (actually), facing a different direction, even in another room (not too far though), and you will know which number is chosen every time.

It's close to a normal looking die but not really. It's a bit bigger. He also sells a tiny keychain one called MD Mini which is 0.8". Still bigger than a normal die and looks like a mini 2X2 Rubick's Cube but with some good stickering, can be made to quite normal.
It is kinda steep at just under $400 with the R**e***r but is 100% worth the price. Just do a search of his products on the Café to see reviews. It's difficult to find a negative one (I don't think any exist).

Can a mod please move this to the appropriate forum, before anything else gets exposed?

We really need to restore the sticky topic about forum guidelines. This sort of thing is happening on a weekly, if not daily basis, as the trivialization of the art continues and is now virtually complete.

He should call himself 'Reveal Rob'.

For anyone thinking this product is in any way a secret, it just got exposed by a person with 3 posts. FFS indeed!
