Dearest Café members it has been a while, but I am in need of assistance; I am working on Ponta's 3 fly routine (as the title suggests), I am having a rough time with a specific part of the vanish(es) and was wondering who could PM me to address my issues.
Thanks, Mike |

Did you resolve your issues? I've been working on that routine for quite some time and feel like I have it about 75% mastered. I should probably spend a little more time making the vanishes silky smooth, as most of my practice is focused on the third production and the move before the second production, both of which are significantly more difficult for my hands than the vanishes. Feel free to PM me.
If you're having trouble with the first two vanishes, you might try using a similar vanish that basically just uses gravity, ala French drop. Just practice to get the knack of hand angle and finger positions to minimize hand movement, noise, and "windows" between your fingers. You can find the gravity-assisted vanish in plenty of 3-fly videos on youtube. I generally prefer dollar-size coins for coin magic, especially for this routine and the rest of Ponta's dollar-size coin work. |
