I've never owned a Wolf Magic product, but have drooled over many. His "Run Wolf Run 2" has kept me up at night, but after seeing his now sold out Micro Hip Hop Hares I've decided to save up for when/if he decides to produce a stage version. I've used a cheap India made version for years, and am amazed at the response from the children (even the adults!). I've even come close to purchasing a high priced magnetic version, but have wanted a more "graphically fun" model.
Then I saw Chance's micro version. That's the look! So, is it a possibility? Chance, I know you're out there |

Chance just posted that he is now back at his graphics artist work. So making magic seems to be on the back burner, if I read his posting correctly.

I think you misread it, Bill. He has multiple projects on the go.
Here's another recent post by Chance, where he talked about his latest magic release: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/searc......=7930818 - Donald

I spoke to Chance a couple of days ago and he said that regardless of the children's book business, that the current line of Wolf's magic will continue. Here is what he wrote in March of this year:

Hey folks,
I just want to let you all know that everything is fine at Wolfs Magic. As we stated 18 months ago, we took some time off to work on a Children's Book. We completed the book and have suspended production for the next 7 weeks as we prepare to debut the concept at the 2013 Las Vegas Liscencing Expo. The concept of the book was created to lend itself to Animated Cartoons, Toys, Video Games etc. The Expo is the world's largest gathering of the top companies in the world looking for the next "Big Thing" on many levels. I LOVE building magic and will ALWAYS create and build magic however it is NOT a type of living that will create any type of retirement plan. We get by month to month like anyone else and I have no plans of being a cranky 80 year old man having to wake up to make more magic to pay the light bills. So we are focusing on something that may give us a bit more security in the coming years. PLEASE do not allow the internet rumor mill start yet another rumor that we are going out of business!! We are STAYING IN BUSINESS as we have been for over ten years with the exception of taking only one 5 month break awhile back. We could not be more thankful to folks like you who have kept us in business for so long. It is an honor to create and build for the magic community and I truly appreciate the support! Regarding the Stage Size Hip Hop Hares. I DO plan on making a larger (12" version) but it will take some time. I hope to get to it later this year. Possibly in the late Fall or early Winter. It will basically be a larger version of my Micro set but I will have to trim off some of the cabinet details in order to make it more affordable. Maybe a Deluxe and Economy version would work?? Keep an eye on my website and once again, thanks so much for the support! Chance Wolf Wolfs Magic Inc.

Maps,
We would be happy to begin an "Interested List" folder for those who have a serious interest. Just send an email to magician@wolfsmagic.com Subject: Stage Size Hip Hop Hares We will begin the list and if we get enough interest I will bump it up in the schedule. I have no idea what the final cost will be or even an estimate as I have not yet created the prop. I will give all those on the list a price estimate BEFORE I decide to begin production. Please let me know if it is within your price range once notified so I can make a fair assesment of the actual demand. Thanks so much guys! Chance

Since the Giant Stage Size Lion and Cobra on wheels, Stage Size has a new meaning, are we talking a version of Hippity Hop Rabbits that can be presented on a table or tables or a set of Hippity Hop Rabbit's on wheels as in Lion and Cobra?
In other words, Hippity Hop Rabbits for the party performer or the stage Grand Illusionist? |

I just thought of a Krazy way to do "Elusive Bunnies" with real people on stage.

The Magic Box on the Isle of Wight in the UK in the 80's made an excellent set of 'rabbit side tables' and when you removed the table tops that slotted between their ears you had a huge set of Hip Hop Hares. (Although I believe the trick was known over here as, 'Norman's Elusive Rabbits')
Once in a while a set will crop up on magic sites that trade second hand props.
