Last year Colin tried but did not get past the boot camp stage
Aaron Crow has just been put through to the next stage , while not my cup of tea , I could see him getting through to the live Finals http://metro.co.uk/2013/04/27/britains-g......3668187/ |

For once a mentalist that doesn't talk too much!
I really enjoyed his performance - very good choice. I hope we see more of him. |

Very different I must say, I thought it was a bit slow starting.

BGT cool start , not talking to the jury:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4PPX3ki9Ww I have met him once or twice, he is a very nice charismatic guy from Belgium. Jeff McBride helped him, they came up with the idea to use candle wax. Great idea! He won first place at the World Championships of Magic. John |

I didn't like his opening or the candle wax in the eyes, but overall I really enjoyed the performance and look forward to seeing what he does next time

That was great! Funny ending, mysterious persona. The audience actually clapped when he poured hot wax in his eyes!

If that's mentalism I'm going to have to improve my billet work
definitely should get through, though I feel dinking the top of a pineapple is a little anti climactic, maybe if he was kneeling down and it were more of a big slice it would be better for me

When I say I don't think it's mentalism, I don't think it's magic really either, why put everything in boxes
if mentalism is about seemingly paranormal powers, then maybe it's like the martial arts version?

This is my first time seeing a candle wax blindfold, I thought it was a cool idea especially for this type of act.

Nice act. Different and compelling. Wax, gauze, tape, foil....

Obviously a talent guy - I just don't get it personally... and hated the music... good luck to him though, would rather he won it than the usual stuff that gets through...

Kinda...it was the secret tape that circulated of her "other act" with the dog that I was talking about...

Candle wax, cloth, tape AND metal foil for the blindfold!! I can't think of much further that he could have taken that short of switching out the lights and having everyone watch it with night vision goggles - but then the assistants might not have realised how much danger they were in...
