It is actually very straightforward.
Put a ball in any of the spots. There are 2 ways to get to this point, one that you started from, and another (it will stay free at the end). Choose either one--that will be your new "target" point." In order to reach it, you could choose 2 points. One is occupied already, the other free (so not much choice). Use the free point that can LEAD you to the point that LEADS to the first point. You then repeat the process--aim for the point that you started from in the last step--look for the point that LEADS to it, start from there and make the move to fill in the place that you used to start from in the previous step.
