I'm still a magic baby and while I learned a few card tricks, I never really focused on cards. I became interested in coins, money, ropes and cups and balls. I got these DVDs (with book) for a steal and after watching only two DVDs I have to say I think it's worth every penny. The second DVD alone is a gold mine of knowledge, even if the rest of the DVDs suck, I feel like I got more than my moneys worth already because it taught me a lot about the history of the book about who people think S.W. Erdnase was and some very nice card handling techniques.
A+ from me all the way. Gary |

I'm glad you are appreciating them.
I think the general view is that the Ackerman DVDs on the same subject are better in most respects. I also hear there is a book that goes by the same name which is pretty good.... (Actually, the Annotated Erdnase by Ortiz, and Vernon's Revelation both offer fantastic insights into the book) (Oh, also, while still no one knows, the investigations into who Erdnase was are still developing; it is a surprisingly fascinating topic!) |
